Surveeve. Everything out there
wants you dead.

You are alone in a wrecked city and everything in it is walking towards you. The weapons fire themselves. What you decide is where to stand and what to pick up when the level comes.

Surveeve in play: the survivor lit inside a green ring on a cobbled street at night, a line of shots running out to a crowd of bodies at the left, wrecked buildings along the top, and the loadout of weapons and passives listed across the bottom.

How it works

  1. Keep moving

WASD or the arrow keys walk you and space dashes you through whatever has closed in. On a phone, drag anywhere to move and tap with a second finger to dash.

  2. Let the guns work

Every weapon takes the nearest target inside its own range and fires on the tick something walks into it. The mouse aims if you want it to, and nothing in the game requires it.

  3. Take an upgrade

Each level stops the clock and puts four cards in front of you. Max a weapon and the passive it is paired with and the weapon turns into something else.

  4. Bank the salvage

A run ends when your health does, and the salvage you picked up goes into the Armory. Those upgrades are permanent, so the next run starts further along than this one did.

What's out there

The crowd

They do different things

Swarmers arrive as a cloud, Lungers commit to a charge they telegraph first, Spitters hold their distance and strafe, Bloaters sprint in and light a fuse, Bulwarks repair everything standing near them. Seven elite modifiers roll on top and stack up as the run goes on.

The bosses

Five, and they have phases

The first arrives five and a half minutes in and another every five minutes after that. The Colossus calls in brutes, the Hive Queen never stops spawning, the Devourer drags you towards it.

What's in there

Weapons
Ten, from a pulse rifle to a disc that carves out and carves its way back. They hold their fire when nothing is in range, so waiting costs no damage.
Evolutions
Max a weapon and the passive paired with it and the weapon changes: the railgun becomes the Annihilator, the ripper disc becomes a singularity. Every pairing is a different passive, so the build you commit to is a real choice.
Passives
Eighteen. Once the build is full the offers turn into refinements, which have no cap, so a long run is still making progress at level 140.
Enemies
Ten archetypes that behave differently rather than differing in health, plus seven elite modifiers that roll on top of them and stack more heavily the longer you last.
Biomes
Five, and the world changes to another one every four minutes. Ashfield, Rotgarden, Glasswaste, Emberdeep and The Hollow, each with its own density of wreckage to hide behind.
The Armory
Twelve permanent upgrades bought with salvage, from raw damage to a reroll, a banish and one revive. A run that ends badly still pays into the next one.
The seed
Terrain, biomes, wave patterns, enemy mix, elite rolls and upgrade offers all come out of one number. The same seed replays the same run.
The loop
Every thirty minutes the world starts again with more health, more damage and more of them, and the rewards go up to match. There is no last wave.

Get it

Surveeve runs in a browser tab, free, and there is nothing in it to buy.

No account, no advertising, nothing for sale, and no network request once the page has loaded. Your Armory, your records and your settings sit in the browser you played in and go no further. There is no last level to reach: every thirty minutes the city starts again harder, and you stop when you feel like stopping.
